Hello again!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I need your help, please. I am in the contest I mentioned in my last post and public voting has begun. If you would be so kind as to repin and/or vote for my design, I would be very grateful! Of course, you can repin other designs you like, too :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I have been busy making pirate hats out of felt; stay tuned for manicures (coming soon?! lol)</div>

My necklace for an artbeads.com contest<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I guess it is a not-so-hidden-secret that I also make jewelry and typically I keep it off of this blog but...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am really proud of this one. :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Artbeads.com (which I have frequented for about 7 or 8 years now) had a contest on their blog to win some beads they had gotten at the big Tucson bead show. Think of this bead show as the ComicCon of bead shows, haha. Anyhow, to win a $50 gift certificate, I have to submit my necklace into a contest and receive the most "Likes" on Facebook or shares on Pinterest. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think I will call it </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><i>That Time in Old New Mexico</i></span></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9LDixvAPgBk/UYGxrx5K20I/AAAAAAAAB9Q/cwZdsNZlc6M/s1600/100_7214.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9LDixvAPgBk/UYGxrx5K20I/AAAAAAAAB9Q/cwZdsNZlc6M/s640/100_7214.jpg" width="464" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I lived in New Mexico for a year and found the desert inspiring and also sobering. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted to pay homage to not just the surface level or obvious imagery of the southwest but the every day and even hidden things that are taken for granted. The history of the southwest is also incredibly vivid and epic so I wanted to incorporate an historic photograph in this design.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My image is of a <i><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldaderas">soldadera</a></i>; she just kinda spoke to me. Women have the most interesting histories the world around, particularly in male-dominated cultures. Seeing photos of women holding guns and wearing <i>bandoleros</i>, standing straight and looking right at the camera---gives one chills! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-guN-lwmyH4I/UYGxoppSTyI/AAAAAAAAB84/Yp-Uch_w0JM/s1600/100_7217.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-guN-lwmyH4I/UYGxoppSTyI/AAAAAAAAB84/Yp-Uch_w0JM/s640/100_7217.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Things I used to make this necklace are as follows:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Soldadera photo under liquid transfer sculpey</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Primo clovis point 2-to-1 link, painted with acrylic and varnished</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
sculpey Spanish mission style pendant and 3-to-1 link, painted and varnished</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Jasper cylinders and roundelles</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Small gunmetal freshwater pearls (won from artbeads.com)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
White and orange agate faceted rounds (won from artbeads.com)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Large goldenrod ceramic disc beads</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mookaite briolette</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Marbled plastic globe (won from artbeads.com)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Metallic plastic ovals (won from artbeads.com)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Black and white clay bead (won from artbeads.com)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Seed beads</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Copper wire in different gauges</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Braided leather</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i5_VsJ4XlI8/UYGxq9lCF4I/AAAAAAAAB9E/H1cKVt6uQEM/s1600/100_7235.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i5_VsJ4XlI8/UYGxq9lCF4I/AAAAAAAAB9E/H1cKVt6uQEM/s400/100_7235.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Does it look like a Clovis point?! I hope so! This is where my archaeologist skills come in handy...</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The less literal inspiration:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Setting sun and rising sun, new moon, insect larvae, wildflowers, shotgun pellets, copper, silicates, Mimbres pottery, churches, adobe, rosaries, snakes, Clovis points and Blackwater Draw (I'm an archaeologist!)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ConI0TfMILk/UYGxlCWWvhI/AAAAAAAAB8s/BEeVq0AoL9Y/s1600/100_7222.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ConI0TfMILk/UYGxlCWWvhI/AAAAAAAAB8s/BEeVq0AoL9Y/s400/100_7222.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Closed slip knot toggle</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0nJf91eoqFc/UYGxodrBMOI/AAAAAAAAB80/zYQwU1uELyY/s1600/100_7223.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="263" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0nJf91eoqFc/UYGxodrBMOI/AAAAAAAAB80/zYQwU1uELyY/s400/100_7223.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Opened slip knot toggle</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted a unique toggle, as well. I was thinking of bolo ties and whips, all sorts of cattle and horse related paraphenlia...then I came up with this toggle: a braided leather slip knot. I didn't want it to be morbid (like if it were made of twine and wrapped around the end) and I wanted to use more beads from the prize. It goes on really easy and stays there when it is tightened :D</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-u_tCLGRv334/UYGxrvOKShI/AAAAAAAAB9M/nGVRVqh0I9w/s1600/100_7236.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="325" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-u_tCLGRv334/UYGxrvOKShI/AAAAAAAAB9M/nGVRVqh0I9w/s400/100_7236.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
What do you all think? Would you like to see posts on jewelry sometimes?</div>

I did a really fast (and sloppy) tape mani the other day. I wanted to do some cute nude nail art and to use Cult Nails Happy Endings which I hadn't used yet. I think it turned out cute even though I had a huge chunk of glitter stuck into the polish of my index finger O_O</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-H7TJ8WkHCTs/UXwMWyB0XpI/AAAAAAAAB8U/SnhKOzvzklY/s1600/100_6985.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="327" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-H7TJ8WkHCTs/UXwMWyB0XpI/AAAAAAAAB8U/SnhKOzvzklY/s400/100_6985.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I thought it would look cool to have a nude that matched my skin pretty good and then add a spike of color up from the ends. I used Zoya Helen for the nude and Zoya Paloma (a jelly polish) for the triangle background. I then added Cult Nails Happy Endings to just the triangle.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0ANQvyrjpbc/UXwMWywwiZI/AAAAAAAAB8Y/-SL32EHb-4Q/s1600/100_6986.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="332" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0ANQvyrjpbc/UXwMWywwiZI/AAAAAAAAB8Y/-SL32EHb-4Q/s400/100_6986.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It kinda looks like an updated 80s style design. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I had a little fun the other day. It was quite rainy so I decided to do some nail art.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
No tape used, just freehand waves. That is why they look so bad, haha!</div>

I felt like stamping last night but I wanted a subtle background and a high contrast element in it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I finally decided on China Glaze Exotic Encounters as a base with Pure Ice Magic as a background using Cheeky XL C. There were two similar designs, one with a swirl and one without so I used the swirl design on my ring finger. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-d5kQhIDRQNU/UWS_fLPEIvI/AAAAAAAAB7Q/jjx_ucNO3I0/s1600/100_6910.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-d5kQhIDRQNU/UWS_fLPEIvI/AAAAAAAAB7Q/jjx_ucNO3I0/s400/100_6910.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I added a black tree/branch design on over it using Konad Black.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z5cZPXaxdq0/UWS_fSIcN1I/AAAAAAAAB7U/aL1qyk9Wcwc/s1600/100_6908.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="242" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z5cZPXaxdq0/UWS_fSIcN1I/AAAAAAAAB7U/aL1qyk9Wcwc/s400/100_6908.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I really like how it turned out.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6fE9sbkPzAo/UWS_f8MGJhI/AAAAAAAAB7g/h6KN5AuRD54/s1600/100_6905.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="308" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6fE9sbkPzAo/UWS_f8MGJhI/AAAAAAAAB7g/h6KN5AuRD54/s400/100_6905.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s9pqT005F4M/UWS_gZHvjMI/AAAAAAAAB7k/AxSf10B1WEg/s1600/100_6913.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s9pqT005F4M/UWS_gZHvjMI/AAAAAAAAB7k/AxSf10B1WEg/s400/100_6913.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Exotic Encounters is like a cross between a pthalo green and teal with some grey. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's a very adult contemporary design ;) I like it, not too busy or crazy this time :D</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

I made this polish awhile back when I saw a Brazilian polish that is very similar on a blog. I had no access to buying it and DIYed it. I added more little glitters than the original but this was the general idea. I used copper and mint green hexes and kelly green mini glitters. It kinda looks like the Essence Fruity color Kiwi a Day (without the big glitters). Super spring-y!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wish I remembered the brand and color of the inspiration polish! This is still going strong, though, after 3 days. I am about to go play putt-putt golf with the husband and it ends up that this is a super cute putt-putt mani :) It is also a BEAUTIFUL day out! I am very happy.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, I am ready. Last year, I could have written this post but I did not, choosing to keep my trap shut. This year is different. If I see another blue Autism "Awareness" mani in my news feed on Facebook, I am going to offload in a NOT very positive manner. So, before that happens, here are my reasons for NOT sporting an Autism "Awareness" mani:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First of all...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Awareness? Is autism the same thing as cancer or something? I think a lot of people know what it is now and I am not sure that awareness will do anything but further stigmatize people with autism. They are people, first and foremost. How about Acceptance? I am all for Autism Acceptance. I myself have a problem making eye contact with people I don't know and I would hate to be pitied or judged because I am awkward. I would rather people just accept me for who I am and not worry so much about me! I know I have been called weird and treated strangely by people for my entire life. This is how I empathize with autistic people. Some people can't understand that and it is okay...as long as you <i>accept</i> that there are other ways of existing. I, myself, cannot understand being able to walk up to people and start a conversation or even flirting. That is okay.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Second...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Curing autism? Not sure how that would ever work and not sure it would be an option for everyone. PLUS---did you ever think maybe there are autistic people (and other neuro-diverse people) who DON'T want to be cured? Have you heard the phrase "nothing about us without us"? Organizations that claim to be charities (like Autism Speaks, a horrid excuse for one) are often created purely for the benefit of parents who have a hard time dealing with their autistic children. It isn't easy to raise a child with a disability as an abled person and no one would argue with that---however, that child has a right to be who they are and treated like a human being, not thrown into truly scary and damaging "therapies" or treated like a non-entity. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Third...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't want misconceptions out there about autism and people with autism. I want them to speak for themselves, or if they can't speak, to count on the support of others in their community and culture to do so for their well-being and benefit. Disabled people have their own culture and they deserve to be recognized, their views validated. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are some resources I have used myself to learn about people with autism:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://autisticadvocacy.org/">Autistic Self-Advocacy Network</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.disabilityandrepresentation.com/">Disability and Representation Blog</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://disabledfeminists.com/2009/11/20/disability-101-what-is-able-bodied-or-abled-privilege/">What is Able-Bodied Privilege?</a><br />
<a href="http://life-with-aspergers.blogspot.com/2012/03/autism-politics-puzzle-pieces-and.html">Discussion of the Puzzle Piece imagery</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you've supported organizations like Autism Speaks or Operation Rescue in the past, please reconsider your support going into the future. You can do more by spreading a message of acceptance and education rather than fear and misinformation. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Note: If you are a parent or relative, or even close friend, with first-hand knowledge of autistic or neuro-diverse persons, please think of how they feel if you haven't before. It is never easy to be different and stressing the sacrifices and negative aspects of living with autistic people is damaging, not only to their self-worth, but to those autistic children yet to be raised by parents who believe it is the worst thing that could happen to their children. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for letting me vent.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is my mani, a Solidarity Raised Fist with a franken I made:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I think I have a bit of an obsession with layering metallic stamping over nudes :O</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You be the judge!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-L2Ox6NhGNEU/UV8S7dOfeQI/AAAAAAAAB6E/-aeoBauZgTc/s1600/100_6827.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="283" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-L2Ox6NhGNEU/UV8S7dOfeQI/AAAAAAAAB6E/-aeoBauZgTc/s400/100_6827.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry for the blur, I didn't have my glasses on when checking the photos!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For my base, I used Essence Nude Glam in Cookies and Cream. I love this nude. It has bronzey metallic flakes in it that you can't really see in the photos. I stamped over it using Maybelline Bold Gold and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes using the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/NailzCraze">Nailz Craze plate NC02</a>. I have NC01 as well but I want them all O_O Darn low income :P</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As you can see, I made a boo-boo on my ring finger here. The stamped image dried on the bottom before I could get it down, then it was put down in the wrong place! I was in too much of a rush I guess.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also think that the lamp I have been using is too hot. It might be drying the images before I can get them down which is why there are so many missing parts to the stamping. I am thinking of buying a lamp that has a fluorescent bulb and a magnifying lens. It will help with beading, too :D</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QxezgfdYbkE/UV8S7XOQBsI/AAAAAAAAB6I/q7VZKIZTqBc/s1600/100_6832.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="243" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QxezgfdYbkE/UV8S7XOQBsI/AAAAAAAAB6I/q7VZKIZTqBc/s400/100_6832.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My other hand, which turned out better ><</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the Nailz Craze plates. I just need to get the hang of stamping again, I have been too consumed by beading to bother. </div>

It is a gorgeous early spring day here in Central Indiana! Time for some finger-jewels :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I fished in my mini polish box the other day because I have neglected them, ultimately. I found a franken I had made, inspired by OPI Thanks a Wind-Million and Zoya Bevin (the latter of which I have now) which is slightly more blue than those two.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eNJ_Cj5lPUU/UV3g6m-KPII/AAAAAAAAB5M/ghQLBWkI3hc/s1600/100_6818.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="306" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eNJ_Cj5lPUU/UV3g6m-KPII/AAAAAAAAB5M/ghQLBWkI3hc/s400/100_6818.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I added <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/117785841/glitter-polish-girl-with-the-best-smile?ref=shop_home_active">Windestine Girl with the Best Smile</a> on top (just one layer). If you have never tried a Windestine polish, what are you thinking?!?! Seriously, Jeweled Sand is a Holy Grail Glitter. It is amazing. So is this one, which is similar to Jeweled Sand but with pink, purple, and light green glitter.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyhow, I <3 Windestine so much. I really want to buy her new polish called <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/123998418/glitter-polish-wish-upon-a-star?ref=shop_home_active">Wish Upon A Star</a> which is a charity polish for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This charity sent my husband and his family to DisneyWorld when he was little. His brother received a liver transplant at 5 months old. I think they do wonderful work, lifting kids out of the gloomy world of medical problems and giving parents peace, knowing their child can forget about their problems for a little bit and enjoy themselves. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am proud to be a Windestine customer. She has wonderful polish that applies perfectly. It is also very well designed and feminine. </div>

Hello all! I have photos again!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry for the long delay. I had to fix my camera. It is all patched up now and I am ready to post some manis :))</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I painted with acrylic paint for the first time (on my nails, that is) and I didn't really like it to be honest. Not sure how people can stand it! It gets so gunky and goopy. Not my cuppa tea.</div>

Orion is a constellation that appears just above the horizon here in the Northern Hemisphere during the winter months. CrowsToes nail polish is made by The Polished Crow and she discusses the Greek mythology story behind her collection here: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
NOTE: I purchased this polish myself from llarowe.com with my own money!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Orion the constellation has personal meaning to me. When I was growing up in San Diego, our family would sometimes take a trip to IHOP to eat breakfast for dinner. I always got the chocolate chip pancakes! When we were out doing this one night when I was around 10, we all went outside to wait for my mom who was using the restroom after eating. I looked up in the sky and I seriously thought I had just discovered a constellation (because I had never learned it). It was Orion but I saw the main rectangular shape with the "belted waist" and I called it the Hunter Daddy constellation because my dad was a hunter (gun AND bow). I was a bit of a daddy's girl at the time. When I found out later that week that I had not made it up myself, I was devastated---until I learned that it was named the Hunter, too! I was right about something at least :)</div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BpoBLj6z4NY/UOS5ZY99UjI/AAAAAAAAByc/wRiRGg1BrNc/s1600/100_6505.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BpoBLj6z4NY/UOS5ZY99UjI/AAAAAAAAByc/wRiRGg1BrNc/s400/100_6505.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Onto the polish! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a really sparkly multichrome that goes from a green-gold to green to blue. It is not a drastic multichrome like, say, Ludurana Show but it is noticeable. I am wearing it over black in all the photos. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-m7dbUPpxfHA/UOS5aBFCAhI/AAAAAAAAByk/6OqcGzLmDxo/s1600/100_6507.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-m7dbUPpxfHA/UOS5aBFCAhI/AAAAAAAAByk/6OqcGzLmDxo/s400/100_6507.jpg" width="356" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Wearing a multi or duochrome over black is the best way, in my opinion, to bring out the range of color. This polish is fairly sheer and I hate wasting multichrome so one layer of Wet n Wild Black Creme and one layer of Orion means I get to wear it many more times!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Zow-T6vOFG4/UOS5aljINsI/AAAAAAAABys/gO1fbTt37KA/s1600/100_6510.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="206" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Zow-T6vOFG4/UOS5aljINsI/AAAAAAAABys/gO1fbTt37KA/s400/100_6510.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

See, I have been on the hunt for a multi or duochrome polish that has a base color of green (hunter green in this instance) and changes easily in the light. I think I have found it, which makes me so happy! No diss intended but the shots of this polish on The Polished Crow were not promising.</div>

The bottle does that thing that a lot of duochromes in rounded bottles do; they appear to be a MUCH more complex multi-chrome. Don't be fooled, this one only has about 3 distinct colors as far as I can tell.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
As you can see, the MISSHA is a more dramatic multichrome but it never gets to the deep golden or forest greens of the CrowsToes. Fandango really only has two colors and it is a muddied and sort of frosty color.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>How would I rate this polish on a scale of 1-10?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Uniqueness: 10</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do you see many forest green-based multi OR duochromes out there?! No, seriously, if you know any more, tell me! This is very unique to me!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Formula: 10</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Like other duochromes, it has a really smooth formula and applies rather sheer. It is opaque in 3 coats but I don't like to use that much. I recommend it over a black nail polish like I recommend most other duochromes :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Payoff: 7</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am only saying 7 BECAUSE...it is not a dramatic duochrome. That may bug some people. The other polishes in this collection seem to be a lot more dramatic. I think it is probably because of the pigment used in making a green duochrome and the type of pigment used. Maybe one day, I will get my wish of a wicked awesome, super dramatic and flashy green-based multichrome!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>ORION rates a 9 for me by those standards</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really like this polish a lot!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Again, this was purchased by me (Nat) using my own money! No one knew I was going to review this polish or asked me to :)</b></div>

I had a hankering to try Zoya Kristen this week because (as you may know) the Midwest was pummelled by a blizzard the day after Christmas. I thought that Kristen would be the perfect wintery weather blue and I was so right. I knew there was a reason I bought this a long time ago!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PMrb5b5s4E4/UOCNny_5tSI/AAAAAAAABvM/aTvU-2IKPuY/s1600/100_6500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PMrb5b5s4E4/UOCNny_5tSI/AAAAAAAABvM/aTvU-2IKPuY/s400/100_6500.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had to add some snowflake stamps to it! I used the Bundlemonster 2012 set's full nail snowflake design and HB23, a cheapie plate I got from a Chinese company awhile back. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Wdqp3ruAglE/UOCNpa86q8I/AAAAAAAABvU/7g1L3_BPyPY/s1600/100_6501.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Wdqp3ruAglE/UOCNpa86q8I/AAAAAAAABvU/7g1L3_BPyPY/s400/100_6501.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stamped all but the ring finger in Konad White and then did the ring with Pure Ice Silver Mercedes. I used the HB plate to add little snowflakes in the opposite stamping color over the full nail design. </div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am pretty darn proud of this one. My nails have been really suffering from my job and the holiday season (even before Thanksgiving) has been suuuuuuper busy and totally crazy. I hope to have more time to devote to my nails and blogging again!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I bought some nail strips from ebay ohhhh 3 months ago and have just now decided to wear them. I felt like they were a trial-run type thing and I wanted to use them for a "special occasion" which turned out to be just another boring day. Oh well, I can accurately describe how they wore through a boring day and at work!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here they are on ebay:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nail-Polish-Strips-Nail-Art-Stickers-Nail-Decals-Foil-6180-/130728046705?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item6422b91a7a</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got design J-074 which is an Eastern European type floral design. I LOVE IT! Reminds me of Russian art pendants.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The package:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NGMXo6NzSHI/UN8-eeVdfwI/AAAAAAAABt0/Cvo21VC5fI0/s1600/100_6410.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NGMXo6NzSHI/UN8-eeVdfwI/AAAAAAAABt0/Cvo21VC5fI0/s400/100_6410.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mSM0feRgzhU/UN8-fXkG_TI/AAAAAAAABt8/516FWBi_qUk/s1600/100_6411.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mSM0feRgzhU/UN8-fXkG_TI/AAAAAAAABt8/516FWBi_qUk/s400/100_6411.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, I don't usually like to make fun of poor English too much because I know that we Americans are not terribly good at foreign languages ourselves. I was a little confused as to what the protective layer was and then I realized it was the little sheet of plastic that had fallen off of them when I opened my package in September. ><</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I began by laying down a thick base coat first. Please do this when using nail stickers. You don't want to pull up your nail when you remove these!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9hwhfgixUew/UN8-dOprnWI/AAAAAAAABtk/puwHtWu9a68/s1600/100_6407.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="292" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9hwhfgixUew/UN8-dOprnWI/AAAAAAAABtk/puwHtWu9a68/s400/100_6407.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5c-siCZUZ1s/UN8-d_zI9BI/AAAAAAAABts/e8fW657sMmE/s1600/100_6408.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5c-siCZUZ1s/UN8-d_zI9BI/AAAAAAAABts/e8fW657sMmE/s400/100_6408.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2 coats Seche (also, got this cuticle salve on Birchbox with a credit long ago and it smells SO GOOD even if it isn't terribly moisturizing)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They work really well, surprisingly enough. They aren't nail polish but stickers (unlike the Sally Hansen strips). You really have to burnish them as you lay them down and once they are on -- but it is easy to do. Once they were on (curvy side toward eponychium for me) I could push down the ends and then push them off with an orange stick or cuticle nippers. Then I buffed the edges to get the rest of the sticker sealed over the edge. I HATE when I see nail stickers put on with a weird gap or hanging edge near the free edge :( I just know they will be ripped off.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These will not work well for someone who has a C curve to their nails. I have no C curve at all unless I buff the edges of my nails downwards, which I do when I have bad peelies. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The strips lasted about 2-3 days. I took them off after a shower by peeling them off when everything was moist and damp. The base coat I had used under the stickers was dyed HOT PINK. O_O I have no idea why. It was so weird. There was a faint yellow tinge to my nails when I used remover on the base coat but it went away. I had no nail damage but the stickers did bubble and start to peel off after 2 days. One chipped on the side in the 2nd day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Verdict: </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not really suitable for those with a C curve OR for a multi-day manicure. I would only use these again for a special occasion. </div>

I wanted to show you all a mani that is...well, not artsy in any way. I bought this polish from nordstrom.com awhile back (before it was sold out, apparently!) and just wore it last week. I LOVE IT. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All photos are 2 coats with one coat of top coat. It is not gritty polish at all.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CBOHbPMCYmY/UIBNNfpQclI/AAAAAAAABjw/hPUDoBE_reQ/s1600/100_6117.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CBOHbPMCYmY/UIBNNfpQclI/AAAAAAAABjw/hPUDoBE_reQ/s400/100_6117.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I thought it was copper glitter in a seafoam base but it is large shimmer like in RBL Halcyon in a seafoam base. Which is why it isn't gritty.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RhQ-CaM8cF8/UIBNN6HB5CI/AAAAAAAABj4/Y8RLkM9lja8/s1600/100_6118.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="308" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RhQ-CaM8cF8/UIBNN6HB5CI/AAAAAAAABj4/Y8RLkM9lja8/s400/100_6118.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The shimmer is a rose/copper duochrome, kinda like Orly Space Cadet but in reverse. The copper is the most prominent color with the rose shining at odd angles. </div>

See, I don't always franken-dupe everything! I also buy a lot of polish!</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The base also has a very very subtle shimmer. I am so happy that it is PACKED with large shimmer particles because in a milky/pastel base, you really need a lot of them to make it a real shimmer. I think this is why so many people were frustrated with Halcyon; it is subtle. 2 Fingered Salute is but also is not. O_o</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the low light photos best. I think the subtle intensity of the polish really shines here. It almost looks as if I used a color changing top coat on it. A true chameleon of a polish.</div>

Rainbow Honey Comparisons</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Oni and Kawako</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All polishes are photographed without top coat for this comparison.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I initially thought Oni was like a pumped up version of Orly Buried Alive.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I WAS WRONG. This is what I get for comparing things to my untrieds!! ><</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
What it really resembles is L'Oreal Owl's Night. However, they both have very different base colors and the contrast of the shimmer and base are different. Oni also has the pinky purple shimmers in it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
I also compared it to China Glaze Midtown Magic, which was way more red but had some similar shimmers in it but no gold flaky shimmers.</div>

Here, Owl's Night looks purpleish next to Oni. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now on to Kawako!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was VERY WRONG AGAIN with this polish. I thought, hey, it has a finish like SC Neptune. Not really! It is a bit more complex than that. I honestly don't own a lot of colors in this range of blue because it is not one of my favorites. :/ So I am working with what I have.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ohKGyALl27k/UHoorUzgp3I/AAAAAAAABiI/txcnn-lKjNw/s1600/100_6136.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="257" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ohKGyALl27k/UHoorUzgp3I/AAAAAAAABiI/txcnn-lKjNw/s400/100_6136.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
MISSHA JBL01 -- Sinful Colors Neptune -- RH Kawako -- Orly Stone Cold</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I added a few other SUPER SHIMMERS to the mix. As you can see, Kawako takes on a very silvery finish without top coat. It is filled to the brim with shimmer.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-58HJngQYpnM/UHoor2oFoCI/AAAAAAAABiQ/XXKIB_JR4HI/s1600/100_6139.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="246" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-58HJngQYpnM/UHoor2oFoCI/AAAAAAAABiQ/XXKIB_JR4HI/s400/100_6139.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
MISSHA JBL01 -- Sinful Colors Neptune -- RH Kawako -- Orly Stone Cold</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
JBL01 and Stone Cold are both shimmers with a jelly base, so they have a<br />"glow" in the flash. SC Neptune is more like a glass fleck type finish, its shimmer particles looking kind of glassy. Kawako is bumpy and has a silver sheen to it. I am not sure what that finish would be other than glitter. It is very unique in my collection, though, I know that for certain.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XAGMPPLgviM/UHoosepV2gI/AAAAAAAABiY/RvWM26WsrEU/s1600/100_6146.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="243" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XAGMPPLgviM/UHoosepV2gI/AAAAAAAABiY/RvWM26WsrEU/s400/100_6146.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>

</div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Rainbow Honey's <a href="http://www.rainbowhoney.com/collections/limited-editions">The Yokai Collection</a></span></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<b>October 13th it goes on sale at the above link!</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yokai are spirits in Japanese folklore, which is a WONDERFUL theme for a Halloween nail polish collection from your favorite otaku indie, Rainbow Honey! Well, they are my favorite anyhow :D<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mjb714sp4ag/UG5RofNNPiI/AAAAAAAABbE/OOoLtbPGpZE/s1600/rbh_yokai2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mjb714sp4ag/UG5RofNNPiI/AAAAAAAABbE/OOoLtbPGpZE/s400/rbh_yokai2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Each represent a particular kind of Japanese spirit.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is a <a href="http://www.rainbowhoney.com/collections/limited-editions">limited edition set</a> of GORGEOUS shimmer/glitters in golden brown with golden flakies and pink/purple sparkle (Oni), maize camel with orange glitter (Kitsune), and a deep navy shimmer with intense silver and rainbow sparkle and flakies (Kawako)</div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
LAST ONE!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Here is KAWAKO! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
From Rainbow Honey's press statement:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
"KAWAKO: the mischievous river child"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QZI1iDiOHpk/UHoORObIVFI/AAAAAAAABfw/rJeZx9j6PUM/s1600/kawako1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QZI1iDiOHpk/UHoORObIVFI/AAAAAAAABfw/rJeZx9j6PUM/s400/kawako1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Of course, this is a GORGEOUS medium blue polish. I wouldn't call it a midnight blue, it seems more of a navy to medium blue. Very gorgeous. It is lighter than Essie Starry Starry Nights and I think it is a lot more complex and sparkly. The shimmer in this polish is traditional small-particle silver shimmer as well as silver micro-glitter and dark blue super micro glitter. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ry6djLIsXlw/UHoORmdgxbI/AAAAAAAABf4/fp6mqT2ybMw/s1600/kawako2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ry6djLIsXlw/UHoORmdgxbI/AAAAAAAABf4/fp6mqT2ybMw/s400/kawako2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
What makes it really cool are these glass-like shards of indigo, blue, and purple. I would call them flakies but they seem to be made of actual glass! They cause the polish to be chunky. They also give Kawako a really neat reflective quality but are impossible to photograph with my camera!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ilj4jSLEMvU/UHoOSJL-hkI/AAAAAAAABgA/j2pp79Awcl4/s1600/kawako3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ilj4jSLEMvU/UHoOSJL-hkI/AAAAAAAABgA/j2pp79Awcl4/s400/kawako3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here, you can see the blue shimmer easier.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The formula is much like ONI has; it wasn't nearly as chunky as KITSUME but it was still very textured without top coat. I used only one coat of GELOUS though. That is not bad at all. It probably needed another coat of top coat but I did nail art so I left it at one. GELOUS is a thick clear polish (meant to be a base coat) that helps even out glitter nail polish, by the way!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bcz1-xHt770/UHoOSv6yryI/AAAAAAAABgI/Et4NnQYS9aU/s1600/kawako4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bcz1-xHt770/UHoOSv6yryI/AAAAAAAABgI/Et4NnQYS9aU/s400/kawako4.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I decided early on to do a little river-creature for this one. I tried to make "stars" out of the shimmery white I used for the moon here but they are hard to see in photos. I used Barielle Blackened Bleu for the water and Zoya Wednesday, China Glaze Exotic Encounters, and OPI Cuckoo for this Color on the creature. I tried to do a subtle black jelly division to keep the same color for the water but it was TOO subtle then it was TOO contrast-y. So hard to do nail art with jellies sometimes!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_OOlAiMOa-c/UHoOUNqW3GI/AAAAAAAABgY/NLWR0MSJH6c/s1600/kawako6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_OOlAiMOa-c/UHoOUNqW3GI/AAAAAAAABgY/NLWR0MSJH6c/s400/kawako6.jpg" width="346" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
KAWAKO really does look like a full-moon night sky out away from the city. The kind of sky that has more stars in it than the ocean has fish! KAWAKO is shimmery, sparkly, glittery, and gorgeous. It is like a beefed up, non-jelly version of <strike>Sinful Colors Neptune </strike>Essie Starry Starry Nights. Stay tuned for a comparison post with some of this collection's stars and other polish!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So, my creature looks like the cactus thing from Yo Gabba Gabba---I think it is cute, hehe! I like the moon part, too, and the reflections on the water. </div>

Close up. I mixed some Wednesday with EE to get the splotchy texture on the monster!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div>
<b>How would I rate this polish on a scale of 1-10?</b></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #20124d;"><u>Uniqueness: 8</u></span></div>
<div>
It is unique in that it has the flake-shards in it but the medium blue with silver glitter has been done before. I do like the upgrade on this one, though. I also love the addition of blue microglitter because it helps the blue to become something more than just the base color, especially in the sun. Sometimes silver is overpowering, after all.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #20124d;"><u>Formula: 7</u></span></div>
<div>
Same as with ONI; clumpy but only takes a few coats of top coat to even out. You don't need GELOUS with this, really. Application was a little clumpy due to the flake-shards.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #20124d;"><u>Payoff: 8</u></span></div>
<div>
This is my least favorite from the collection but I do think it is a very pretty polish, indeed. I have a couple similar polishes but nothing like it. I may purge those for this one if it came down to it because I do love how this polish looks not only in the light, but with matte over it. The matte doesn't get rid of the shimmer but subdues the intensity of the blue base. Makes it a velvety night sky.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>KAWAKO rates a 8 for me by those standards</b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>All 3 polishes were sent to me for my honest review.</i></div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Rainbow Honey's <a href="http://www.rainbowhoney.com/collections/limited-editions">The Yokai Collection</a></span></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>October 13th it goes on sale at the above link!</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yokai are spirits in Japanese folklore, which is a WONDERFUL theme for a Halloween nail polish collection from your favorite otaku indie, Rainbow Honey! Well, they are my favorite anyhow :D</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mjb714sp4ag/UG5RofNNPiI/AAAAAAAABbE/OOoLtbPGpZE/s1600/rbh_yokai2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mjb714sp4ag/UG5RofNNPiI/AAAAAAAABbE/OOoLtbPGpZE/s400/rbh_yokai2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Each represent a particular kind of Japanese spirit.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is KITSUNE! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
From Rainbow Honey's press statement:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
"KITSUNE: the magical white fox"</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4BKy-z8eVvo/UHOmDTpAgxI/AAAAAAAABd8/b0DS-ErZ_ak/s1600/kitsune1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4BKy-z8eVvo/UHOmDTpAgxI/AAAAAAAABd8/b0DS-ErZ_ak/s400/kitsune1.jpg" width="325" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I did not get any photos without topcoat :( It is a lot grittier than ONI was and took 2 coats of GELOUS with some fast dry topcoat on it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I did get a good idea of how this polish wears because ALL of these photos have at least 4 days of wear. Seems crazy, huh, but look at that GAP ;) I got minimal tip wear, too! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T4bQ4JlNCmA/UHOmE1fMIBI/AAAAAAAABeE/kAf7rHhE77Y/s1600/kitsune2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T4bQ4JlNCmA/UHOmE1fMIBI/AAAAAAAABeE/kAf7rHhE77Y/s400/kitsune2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The polish is a bit like China Glaze Classic Camel in the base color (which, full disclosure, I did not like and got rid of) but it has a lot of gorgeous golden shimmer, small orange hexes, small orange holo hexes, and tiny brown glitter. The glitter is what makes the polish dry rough but I forgave it for being so awesome.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Normally, I hate this kind of pale maize camel color but it just seems to...go with me, hehe. I was worried about the holo glitter BUT it seems to only glow orange and green and occasionally gold.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bAN3UUvalvU/UHOmFn2t4NI/AAAAAAAABeM/ZQA6wGLrtAU/s1600/kitsune3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bAN3UUvalvU/UHOmFn2t4NI/AAAAAAAABeM/ZQA6wGLrtAU/s400/kitsune3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had to amp up the nail art this time!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Since a Kitsune is a fox spirit, I thought it would be cute to paint a ghost fox! It looks bright but I added some jelly white over it to fade out the color. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sgbEhDg0l3s/UHOmGru5pHI/AAAAAAAABeU/gbs2CUfQPw0/s1600/kitsune4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sgbEhDg0l3s/UHOmGru5pHI/AAAAAAAABeU/gbs2CUfQPw0/s400/kitsune4.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
oops, this is not using flash but lamplight!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It has two tails to represent its power. They can have up to nine. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pKyGg8Sgni0/UHOmHbxReTI/AAAAAAAABec/whL1Dev86Bc/s1600/kitsune5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pKyGg8Sgni0/UHOmHbxReTI/AAAAAAAABec/whL1Dev86Bc/s400/kitsune5.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then I mattified it to give it a ghostlier glow</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JlUgSXvmFKo/UHOmI8aAppI/AAAAAAAABek/we5j6jHg8-I/s1600/kitsune6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JlUgSXvmFKo/UHOmI8aAppI/AAAAAAAABek/we5j6jHg8-I/s400/kitsune6.jpg" width="362" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So painting a fox is kinda hard, hehe. I hope it resembles one as much as it can.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>How would I rate this polish on a scale of 1-10?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #20124d;"><u>Uniqueness: 10</u></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is REALLY unique! I mean, how many pale golden yellow polishes with tiny orange and brown glitter have you seen?!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #20124d;"><u>Formula: 6</u></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was SOO clumpy but I managed to get it on. The edges of my nails were kinda hard to polish because they would get clumpy with the little glitters. It took some wrangling. It also needed 2 coats of GELOUS and top coat to get even.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #20124d;"><u>Payoff: 10</u></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
OK, the payoff was worth it. Just look at the photos :D The photos are even 4 days of wear and it is STILL gorgeous. No chips, no peeling, very little tip wear. And the colors SCREAM fall. I mean, this is the perfect polish for going to a pumpkin patch or orchard!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>KITSUNE rates a 9 for me by those standards</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>All 3 polishes were sent to me for my honest review.</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Forgive my rushed photography. The sun was setting and I was in a RUSH to put on the polish to show you all at least one mani! Trust me, I will be going back to this one.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So today, it is ONI! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one needs a good top coat but it is not terribly thirsty for it. Oni goes on smooth for the first coat but is a little rough on the second coat and I imagine that is from how LOADED with shimmer it is. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Rainbow Honey's bottles are similar if not identical to Cult Nails' bottles and have a pretty decent if run of the mill brush. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7fbwkWX0QPw/UG5RnPmUcwI/AAAAAAAABa0/LYPB5e7z-Ns/s1600/oni2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7fbwkWX0QPw/UG5RnPmUcwI/AAAAAAAABa0/LYPB5e7z-Ns/s400/oni2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is how shiny it is with top coat. Very gorgeous! You can't see it much in this shot but there are magenta-pink and purple sparks that fly off of this one. It is like Tony Moly Mars but MUCH easier to work with and with a MUCH better payoff. Also, the base color and sparkle are much like <strike>Orly Buried Alive</strike> L'Oreal Owl's Night but Oni is a lot more complex and darker. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hS_MPep_AQ4/UG5W8mxpgFI/AAAAAAAABcY/R63YByiWo-8/s1600/oni3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="353" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hS_MPep_AQ4/UG5W8mxpgFI/AAAAAAAABcY/R63YByiWo-8/s400/oni3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I doodled a little with some Hello Kitty Gold Star glitter. There is no photographing how awesome these are together. Oni are like crazy demon troll things and I didn't have time to paint anything like that on my nails, so I went with......spirals. Waaaah waaah. Sorry, the next two will have cool art :D</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2QabQ_8nne0/UG5W9bxO35I/AAAAAAAABcg/sGTqB6aXj8Q/s1600/oni4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2QabQ_8nne0/UG5W9bxO35I/AAAAAAAABcg/sGTqB6aXj8Q/s400/oni4.jpg" width="368" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can only imagine how pretty this is through photos.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5TYz_fCxGCc/UG5W-ETHjrI/AAAAAAAABco/nm79fHnKfp4/s1600/oni5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5TYz_fCxGCc/UG5W-ETHjrI/AAAAAAAABco/nm79fHnKfp4/s400/oni5.jpg" width="368" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The amount of sparkle is kind of like Zoya Kimber but amped up. I am not sure how Dee of Rainbow Honey managed to pack in this much flaky-sparkle goodness without making the formula IMPOSSIBLE to work with.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QJy5y3Fzpoo/UG5W-tkXAJI/AAAAAAAABcw/z7mLNoNY98k/s1600/oni6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QJy5y3Fzpoo/UG5W-tkXAJI/AAAAAAAABcw/z7mLNoNY98k/s400/oni6.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is a bokeh shot to show you the golden-ruby-amethyst-tourmaline sparkle. UGH I love it. It is PERFECT for fall. I may purge my bottle of L'Oreal Owl's Night... >_></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>How would I rate this polish on a scale of 1-10?</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<u><span style="color: #20124d;">Uniqueness</span>: 8</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There are some similar to this but not quite as intense.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<u><span style="color: #20124d;">Formula</span>: 7</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is a little clumpy but this is unnoticeable with top coat. There is no chunky glitter in this one so it makes it a much easier to apply polish than your standard indie glitter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<u><span style="color: #20124d;">Payoff</span>: 9</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I LOVE THE SPARKLES. Truly, very eye-catching and gorgeous. I GASPED when I unpacked this one in particular. If you are warm-skinned and/or love brown or gold, I would recommend this polish.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>ONI rates an 8 for me by those standards</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I will be reviewing the next two in this collection in the next few days :D STAY TUNED and thank you for sitting through my first review!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Since I have started substitute teaching, I thought it would be a good idea to wear neutral and kinda plain colors to work. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today, I put on a color I got in a RGB set on copious.com for $3.60 (after a $10 credit!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lob2ksrfuLs/UGo3JcH2DfI/AAAAAAAABWA/R_qiv7W6Qao/s1600/100_5799.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="328" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lob2ksrfuLs/UGo3JcH2DfI/AAAAAAAABWA/R_qiv7W6Qao/s400/100_5799.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The set came with Doll (used once before) and Minty. Doll is a total bandage/mannequin hands polish and Minty is a gorgeous pale turquoise/aqua/mint color.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dk7Jb1rDrTw/UGo3Id6LJYI/AAAAAAAABVw/-_7dNjBqwAU/s1600/100_5796.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dk7Jb1rDrTw/UGo3Id6LJYI/AAAAAAAABVw/-_7dNjBqwAU/s400/100_5796.jpg" width="350" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
No flash, indoors at night. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Very very pale!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GSowQmB9ksQ/UGo3Iw0pOFI/AAAAAAAABV4/5l7SPlE6Les/s1600/100_5797.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GSowQmB9ksQ/UGo3Iw0pOFI/AAAAAAAABV4/5l7SPlE6Les/s400/100_5797.jpg" width="358" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Flash, indoors at night</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think this polish is a bit too light to wear alone. I felt like Barbie... ><</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and then I got 'Doll Parts' by Hole stuck in my head...groan.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VVbPhoWjdv8/UGo3KPiXdTI/AAAAAAAABWI/a7kRbMlMeiE/s1600/100_5805.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VVbPhoWjdv8/UGo3KPiXdTI/AAAAAAAABWI/a7kRbMlMeiE/s400/100_5805.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
No flash, indoors at night</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I added Pure Ice Mint Dream! Which is really an aqua and green shimmer. Then I added Oh Baby! over that for some extra blue-purple sparkle.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bdA0VA2aeNA/UGo3KpcqLtI/AAAAAAAABWQ/5au63Y_FcT8/s1600/100_5812.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="305" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bdA0VA2aeNA/UGo3KpcqLtI/AAAAAAAABWQ/5au63Y_FcT8/s400/100_5812.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
No flash, indoors at night</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
It looks like there are icy flames on my fingers! So in love. <3 Maybe I will take some photos in the daylight tomorrow before I stamp it!</div>

I have been SO BUSY lately!! Sorry for not posting so much.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My mani for Saturday was Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Lava. I managed to snag this one off of a display at my local Meijer. I had no time to clean up my mani or anything :/ I had to run off to take photos with my family, hang out at Oktoberfest (I know, it is September), and it was my brother's birthday. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VOkkMQ2F5Iw/UGkPoiiyqKI/AAAAAAAABUI/h9BkQmhfwHw/s1600/100_5738.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="282" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VOkkMQ2F5Iw/UGkPoiiyqKI/AAAAAAAABUI/h9BkQmhfwHw/s400/100_5738.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is 100000x times better than Bad Fairy or Poison Apple (and sorry for the tip wear! I didn't wash between taking off my polish and putting base coat on >< )</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-V9S3doHQGfU/UGkPpDyXiMI/AAAAAAAABUQ/LTKUCqWVhWM/s1600/100_5739.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="287" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-V9S3doHQGfU/UGkPpDyXiMI/AAAAAAAABUQ/LTKUCqWVhWM/s400/100_5739.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I put it on over OPI Royal Rajah Ruby. OPI shimmery vamps always fall flat on me so I just use them for undies. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8QYiR2cd8J0/UGkPppk5EjI/AAAAAAAABUY/5CmwqxiwRBo/s1600/100_5740.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="255" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8QYiR2cd8J0/UGkPppk5EjI/AAAAAAAABUY/5CmwqxiwRBo/s400/100_5740.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is one of my favorite polishes ever. I am going back for a back up (or two!)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UsOmEcCAqHM/UGkPp2udD0I/AAAAAAAABUg/PXAyP883wRo/s1600/100_5741.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="217" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UsOmEcCAqHM/UGkPp2udD0I/AAAAAAAABUg/PXAyP883wRo/s400/100_5741.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is purple-y when angled down</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aK7QyJ7k8cU/UGkPqYBf6NI/AAAAAAAABUo/s5GKtLiLVEA/s1600/100_5744.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="232" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aK7QyJ7k8cU/UGkPqYBf6NI/AAAAAAAABUo/s5GKtLiLVEA/s400/100_5744.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
ZOMG.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
That is all.</div>

2 posts back to back! It is like I am a blogger again or something. Hehe!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ayfgdk8TkMU/UF6duCLMIPI/AAAAAAAABOQ/vGSGwiixRlg/s1600/100_5411.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="230" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ayfgdk8TkMU/UF6duCLMIPI/AAAAAAAABOQ/vGSGwiixRlg/s320/100_5411.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
China Glaze Rare and Radiant! When I was wearing this, I went to Meijer and found 2 dupes to this by Maybelline and Sally Hansen...But at least I only paid 3 bucks for this at CosmoProf :D That is still cheaper than both of those brands AND I have 15mL of this stuff. w00t</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FApyzNK9pMs/UF6duj2hxpI/AAAAAAAABOY/baO1aVY8A7I/s1600/100_5412.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="201" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FApyzNK9pMs/UF6duj2hxpI/AAAAAAAABOY/baO1aVY8A7I/s320/100_5412.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a franken mix I made as I was inspired by adding aqua shred to gunmetal glitters...the golden green was inspired by the main color of this polish and the aqua by the duochrome flash. It also has garnet hexes, purple squares, and copper bar glitter. You can get the glitter mix on the GLITTER MIXES tab at the top of the page! It is called BEST DRESSED.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T2rvAMS4o_4/UF6dvBz82hI/AAAAAAAABOg/bX22ONs2bWc/s1600/100_5415.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T2rvAMS4o_4/UF6dvBz82hI/AAAAAAAABOg/bX22ONs2bWc/s320/100_5415.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Editorial, darling.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NSgaq43D3jI/UF6dvo8kyII/AAAAAAAABOo/8Gk_XG0u1UI/s1600/100_5416.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="226" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NSgaq43D3jI/UF6dvo8kyII/AAAAAAAABOo/8Gk_XG0u1UI/s320/100_5416.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made it work!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GXuXpxWvHF0/UF6dv87ZmsI/AAAAAAAABOw/vsTA1HpgxT4/s1600/100_5419.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GXuXpxWvHF0/UF6dv87ZmsI/AAAAAAAABOw/vsTA1HpgxT4/s320/100_5419.jpg" width="292" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is after a day of wear so there is a little tip rub off going on. Still a sweet color. I think it looks good with my skin tone but is a little too flashy for work-wear.</div>

Yeah....it is not Sunday...But here is my mani for last week's Stamping Sunday theme of Leaves!</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2mqDHwNzYdk/UF6cibslpnI/AAAAAAAABN4/R4xGmiacRkU/s1600/100_5341.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2mqDHwNzYdk/UF6cibslpnI/AAAAAAAABN4/R4xGmiacRkU/s400/100_5341.jpg" width="368" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Revlon Fig Jam base! The smell is kinda...well, not strong and unoffensive. I like this polish, very pretty.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FsDbrmNWSz4/UF6cjFokyCI/AAAAAAAABOA/kgpOz7uFSiU/s1600/100_5346.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FsDbrmNWSz4/UF6cjFokyCI/AAAAAAAABOA/kgpOz7uFSiU/s400/100_5346.jpg" width="368" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, I kinda went nuts with the leaves here. >_></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my right hand. Less cluttered! Wish I had an oak leaf stamp...</div>

I've wanted to use these animal stamps for awhile now. I also like the red tribal flamey thing. I think it is simple and sleek, for a stamped animal mani :P I was going to do mushrooms but I only have one mushroom stamp and I kinda hate every nail being the same unless it is over a duochrome or something!</div>

I have listed a limited edition run of some music inspired frankens on my Facebook fan page which is at:</div>

I am not an indie company or anything so the same rules apply to these frankens as do the ones in my blog sale only these are all hand-made. They are made primarily with MATTE glitter which doesn't seem to warp or bleed or curl like metallic glitter :) The full sizes are $7 each and the minis are $3 each with $2 shipping and .50 each additional bottle.</div>
