100 Facebook Followers Giveaway!

GIIIIIIVVVEEEEEAWAAAYYYYY!!!!

I wanted my GFC AND Facebook followers to have an equal chance at this one!

I am giving away two handmade, one-of-a-kind frankens, stickers, and Lisa Frank mechanical pencils to the winner!

I was inspired to make Pansy (the yellow glitter franken) when I saw these stickers. I came home and set to work! I know not everyone likes yellow, but this is yellow AND purple! Both! The purple-indigo franken is a shimmery, almost glittery semi-jelly. I dunno, I think I shall call this one...Aparajita!

You have less than one week to enter using this Rafflecopter widget! Giveaway ends on April 18th at 12am.

  2. I posted before I saw what the question was on Rafflecopter! Duh. I wish I could draw things on my nails that I could easily do on paper, but I feel like if I get more complicated than dots or lines, it'll get too gloppy and thick and get dings in it even hours after it's dry. I would love to be able to do some of the cute nail art I've seen of fruit, animals, etc. I also wouldn't mind trying water marbling, but it looks really hard to master and messy. So I might just live vicariously through others with that one. Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. Right away I can say that putting an image you drew under a plastic baggie then retracing with polish (and painting it in with acrylics or whatever) is the way to go! I am going to do a detailed plastic bag nail art tutorial (step by painful step) again soon, but I do have one in one of my first posts to give you an idea. It can be a bit poofy on the nail, but if you use acrylic paint it might not be :)) HTH!

    1. I got my brushes for around $3 at....ok I don't remember, but anyhow! They were in a package of 10. I have modified a bunch of them to be what I want them to be. Dotting tools are also suuuper cheap on ebay. They take a little while to get to you, but they are really fun!

    1. You are gonna want to check out my latest post, a tutorial on baggie painting! It makes it look like you are ambidextrous, seriously. All it takes is a baggie and a general idea of how big each nail is. It takes time, but so worth it :)) You can even make little decals this way.

    1. I personally watch videos on youtube for good stamping technique; it is so hard to read something about it without seeing it done! That is why I usually don't post stamping tutorials :/

    1. What I did is buy a Red Angel set (Cheeky is also good I hear, I dont think Red Angel plates are good anymore) and a Konad Double ended stamper and also black and white Konad Special polish. I use an old credit card to scrape. Cheeky also makes bigger designs for bigger/longer nails that I love called XL (they are huge plates). Hope this helps!
