This is my first post on my blog! My name is Nat and I am into nail polish, nail art, and frankening. I also make and sell jewelry, cross stitch, paint, draw, read, make random accessories, scrapbook...So many hobbies! I am currently in graduate school so manicures are a de-stressing activity. I live in a very rural area so I have to be creative when it comes to new nail polish so sometimes I try to dupe expensive polish with a franken.
Speaking of, it is Franken Time!
This is a franken I made after I saw Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream. I wanted something more aqua and with more glitter. The base is rather opaque as well. I shaped my nails really almond-y when I had this mani on. Anyhow, I named this franken Mermaid's Daydream. :))
What is with the nipple cream? It is a wonderful moisturizer for the cuticles!
The colors I used here are Sally Hansen White On, Sally Hansen Fairy Teal, LA Colors (un named blue creme), LA Girl Glitter Addict in Nostalgic, and Revlon Blue Mosaic with a touch of Sally Hansen Diamonds.
I love that glitter. This polish works for me as an economical way around purchasing a Deborah Lippmann, which I cannot really afford right now. I would rather splurge on duo/multichromes anyhow!
Thank you for visiting :))
i am a graduate student too, and also live in the boonies! :) the biggest city is still within easy driving distance, but still...
